o Planning is equivalent to a Hold on the calendar. Events with Planning status will show up on the Google calendar.

o Awaiting Review is an internal indication that we are ready to go ahead with the date and time of the event.

o Confirmed. On a weekly basis, Director of Education will review all Awaiting Review events and change the status to Confirmed unless there is an issue.

o Once Confirmed, Facilities Manager will see the event on his end. They have a separate status field in his view of the system called “Calendar Status”. Unless there is a problem, Facilities Manager will also confirm the event at this point. The event is now confirmed on the calendar (vs. a hold).

o Departmental Review is to notify Dir. of Education and/or Mgr. of Public Programs that descriptive titles and text are ready for internal review.

o Ready for Editing is when the internal review has taken place and titles and text are ready for Communications.

o Communications will review and Publicize which pushes event information to the program calendar on our website. This will also be the way Communications pulls information for the monthly press release.
